The Hong Kong Medical Council Licensing Exam, also known as the LMCHK Exam or HKMLE, is the exam that doctors trained outside of Hong Kong have to take before they get a chance to work in Hong Kong. More information on this exam can be found at the official website.
It is a notoriously tough exam, with a passing rate of about 10% to 15%. The standards are high, and there is a lack of materials and guidance out there for candidates sitting for the exam.
If you're a candidate planning to sit this exam, and you aren't sure what to expect, how to prepare, or what to study - I can help. My students have a much higher passing rate at about 60-80%, but it still boils down to individual effort - I can't take the exam for you.
I passed the HKMLE back in 2013-2014. Preparing for the exam was a lonely process, and I was very fortunate to meet some like-minded people who helped me tremendously to prepare for the exam. In the process, I have accumulated a lot of studying and reading material that helped me to pass. I have helped others pass the exam - and now I would like to help you too.
